The math
For each good: certificates = (embedded emissions − benchmark × CBAM factor) × net mass. We sum across goods, then multiply by the certificate price you set to get your cost.
Estimate your Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism obligation for imported goods — from official EU default values, or your own verifier-certified emissions.
Use the official EU default emission values, or your own emissions certified by an accredited verifier.
One row per good: CN code, country of origin, import year and net mass.

Verde365 helps importers manage CBAM, Product Carbon Footprints, and full Scope 1–3 reporting from one platform.
Informative estimate only — no rights may be derived from these results. Electricity (CN 2716 00 00) is out of scope; a CO₂ price already paid in the country of origin is not deducted. Default values, mark-ups and benchmarks are as adopted in Commission Implementing Regulations (EU) 2025/2620 and 2025/2621; the CBAM factor for future years reflects published projected values. A quick read on the method, the data, and the limits.
For each good: certificates = (embedded emissions − benchmark × CBAM factor) × net mass. We sum across goods, then multiply by the certificate price you set to get your cost.
Default emissions and benchmarks come straight from the official EU source — Commission Implementing Regulations (EU) 2025/2620 and 2025/2621 — matched on your good's CN code and country of origin.
An informative screening estimate, not a CBAM declaration. EU/EFTA-origin goods and electricity are out of scope, and a CO₂ price paid at origin is not deducted. For audit-ready CBAM, talk to us.
Verde365 turns CBAM, Product Carbon Footprints, and Scope 1–3 reporting into one connected, audit-ready workflow.
